Moonlight Peaks Tools is an unofficial, non-commercial fan guide. It respects the rights of the game’s creators, publishers, platforms, community contributors, and other content owners. This page explains how to identify material for review and the public reporting route that is actually available.

Public reporting route

The site does not currently publish a direct operator email address or rights-request form. For material served from moonlightpeaks.net through Cloudflare, a rights holder or authorized representative can submit a report through Cloudflare’s public copyright report form or general abuse form.

Cloudflare explains that qualifying complaints may be forwarded to a website operator or hosting provider. Its forms also describe what reporter information may be shared or released. Read those notices before submitting personal, confidential, or legally sensitive information. Cloudflare is an infrastructure provider and does not write or approve this site’s content.

Do not send a complaint about this fan site to Little Chicken Game Company, XSEED Games, Marvelous, Nintendo, Valve, Google, wiki.gg, or another cited source and assume that it reaches the site operator. Those parties do not operate Moonlight Peaks Tools.

What to include

A useful rights report should identify:

  1. The exact moonlightpeaks.net URL where the material appears. If an image or downloadable file has its own public URL, include that URL as well.
  2. The copyrighted work, trademark, personal information, or other right at issue, with a link or description sufficient to identify it.
  3. The specific text, image, mark, or data that should be reviewed; a general reference to the whole site may delay identification.
  4. The reporter’s relationship to the rights holder and, when acting for someone else, the authority to do so.
  5. The requested outcome, such as removal, replacement, attribution correction, or limitation of a particular use.
  6. Accurate contact information and any declarations required by the selected Cloudflare form.

Do not include passwords, payment details, unrelated identity documents, private game-account data, or materials that are unnecessary to evaluate the stated right. A reporter is responsible for the accuracy of the submitted claim and for using the appropriate legal or platform process.

Review approach

When a sufficiently specific report is received through the available infrastructure route, the affected URL and local asset record can be compared with the site’s source, permission, attribution, transformation, and use notes. Depending on the evidence, review may result in removal, replacement, reduced use, corrected attribution, a request for clarification, or no change.

An urgent and credible report may justify temporarily removing the disputed material while the evidence is reviewed. The site does not promise a fixed response deadline because it has no staffed support operation, but non-commercial status does not excuse ignoring a valid rights concern.

If a report appears to identify the wrong file, wrong rights holder, public-domain material, a licensed use, or a use believed to be legally permitted, the relevant context may be provided to Cloudflare or the reporting party through the process Cloudflare makes available. This page is a practical review policy, not legal advice and not a substitute for any notice requirements that apply to the reporter.

Fan-use and source boundaries

Game names, characters, artwork, screenshots, and other official assets remain associated with their respective rights holders. Their appearance on this site does not transfer ownership or create an official partnership. The current project has no ads, sponsorships, paid placements, or affiliate links; a future commercial use would require a new rights review rather than relying automatically on the present fan-guide context.

Source attribution is not the same as permission, and permission to quote text does not automatically cover an attached image. The Sources and Evidence Register explains how official pages, fixed community revisions, and image-rights boundaries are recorded.

Ordinary factual mistakes that do not raise a rights issue should follow the Corrections Policy. Game bugs, purchases, and account problems belong with the relevant official support or storefront channel, not this takedown process.
